A medical testing and lab booking app for Agilus, rebuilt end to end so booking a test feels as easy as ordering anything else you love.
Booking a medical test, finally simple.
Agilus is a diagnostics brand, people book lab tests, schedule a technician to collect samples from home, and get their reports. The old experience made all of that harder than it needed to be. I was brought in to rethink the whole journey for mobile, from finding the right test to reading the result, and to give it a warm, colourful identity that still feels safe and clinical where it matters.
The whole journey was broken.
Nothing was catastrophic on its own, but every step leaked people. Together, four stages turned a simple health task into a chore. Tap a stage to see how I fixed it.
Rebuilt around the person, not the lab.
I mapped the real journey people take, from noticing a symptom to acting on a result, and rebuilt the information architecture around it. Every stage got one clear job and one obvious next step, tested as flows and a clickable prototype before a single pixel of UI.
Search by symptom, goal or name. Curated packages remove the guesswork.
Pick a test, see prep and price, choose a live slot in three taps.
A technician comes home. Track them live and reschedule freely.
Get a plain summary, see trends, share with a doctor instantly.
Colourful, warm, still trustworthy.
Healthcare apps feel cold. Agilus feels human, a confident royal blue, big rounded shapes and friendly type, balanced with the clarity a medical product needs. One royal blue accent leads, backed by warm supporting colours and a consistent, rounded component set.
Four moments, redesigned.
Start from how you feel. Search a doctor or speciality, or tap a symptom like fever or cough, and Agilus points you to the right care nearby, from one clean home.
Every package spells out what is included, the sample, the prep and the report time, with transparent pricing and live offers, so people know exactly what they are booking.
Browse doctors near you with experience, ratings and fees up front, then book a clinic visit or a video consultation in a single tap.
A clear three step checkout with live morning, afternoon and evening slots, and fasting reminders baked in, so scheduling never blocks the booking.
The whole product, alive.
A health task that feels light.
By fixing the whole journey instead of one screen, Agilus went from a clinical chore to something people can do in a minute from their sofa, colourful and warm, but still calm and trustworthy where it counts.
